DTR baby

A very special reporter

I’ve never seen a bike/cab accident so well documented : video along with explanation, drawing helped by figurines demonstration!!! Well the guy is not anybody but Casey Neistat better known for handmade home movies and his show on HBO. At the end I am not sure who’s right or wrong in this altercation, looks like the cab driver was at fault and the bike messenger didn’t show lots of tact.

“This is fucking cool” by Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Mr. Joseph Gordon Levitt, last seen in Inception (awesome movie by the way) landed in the rear window of a taxi while riding his fixie during the footage of Premium Rush, a new movie about a NYC bike messenger chased by a dirty cop.

Being that cheerful after a bloody wreck, Mr Joseph you are damn cool!

See the video here.

Nostalgic ride

While I was browsing the web to find inspiration for my new post, I came across this short film I saw 2 years ago with incredible shooting, great music and simply a good concept in itself. Ok you probably saw it too but for the beauty of it I couldn’t hold myself. It is a pleasure to watch every time so enjoy!

“It’s your Ride”, short film directed by Daniel Leeb of Cinecycle Productions and commissionned by Hutchinson tires.

New Yorkers you’ve earned your sports

Being a New Yorker isn’t easy and SNY (the Mets cable channel) really nailed it in a pretty funny way with its 6 new commercials featuring typical bummers in a New Yorker’s life, obviously messengers are part of it.
