These last few days you have probably come across the Rapha team tackling 4 stages of the famous 2011 Amgen Tour of California (runs May 15-22) . The videos are amazing and no doubt California is the state to ride, with such a diversity of lanscapes and mind-blowing vistas, it has it all (even the good wine)! I went on the famous coastal road US-1 two months ago and I couldn’t agree more with rider Slate Olson, no need to go to Italy to have amazing roads.

The famous annual Tweed Run is coming up in London April 9, 2011. This event became so popular that it has been exported to Memphis, San Diego, LA, Melbourne and other major cities.
The principle is fairly easy, ride a bike with British elegance, so ladies go steal your grandmother’s tweed skirts and gentlemen have your mustache grow. And if you are into old fashion revival events, you can also participate to the ‘Béret Baguette’ Ride in Paris on May 21-22.
Even though Japanese people don’t really celebrate Christmas, they know how to embrace the spirit.
