Soho Bag

Another new bag from Brooks that is …’interesting’. Very simple look, a touch dressier than usual bicycle bags but seems more bulky than handy.
When I look at it, I can’t stop thinking of a giant binoculars case!

The mammoth cycling bag

Brooks England breaks the record with its brand new Hampstead Holdall bag, the world’s largest cycling bag! Well that’s what they say, nevertheless the bag shows some inventive versatility, gravity enhancement and good looking.

Sweet Mama

These new bags from Wheelmen&Co are pretty pretty nice! They had few select hand made pieces for Mrs. and Mr. produced specifically for the Holidays. And for the Ladies, the new leather patent model is retail priced ($299.99). You’d better be a good kid!

Trash your bag

The Fixed Gear era is all about customizing, make your bike at your image and suitable to your specific needs. Trash Bags, a small scale messenger bags business in Minneapolis, followed the same idea for messenger bags and offers a wide variety of customizing options, ranging from the number of pockets, the stitching color and even personal custom art to add on. The bags are made in house by the small crew of Trash Bags who also test the new bag designs on the streets of Minneapolis. The owner, Andy Larson, is a former bike messenger and I bet you his bags are tough! Good luck to them!

To get one, go to  trashmessengerbags.com.

Sneakerpedia

Finally a place for the sneakerheads to show off their ‘one of a kind’ favorite pair of sneakers and you can say thank you to Foot Locker. The idea popped up as a ‘community space’ where each member can upload pictures of THE sneakers they can’t stop thinking about and tell other members their love story with THE sneakers. Apparently the same idea has already had a short existence on the blogosphere (Sneakerpedia, A dedication to footwear design) but looked more like a solo project. Of course behind the whole community affair and brilliant idea of a digital sneakers showcase (needless to say inspired by Wikipedia), this project offers great advertising opportunities for Foot Locker and a well deserved freshen up (…well if they decide to spread the word on their website)!

To join the sneaker revolution go here (the site is still under construction).

Factice
