Eurobike gets wild
This year Eurobike, the most famous bike show along with Interbike, welcomes a Fixed Gear Championship for the first time. I remember 3 years ago there was barely no fixed gear booth at this show, crazy how things move fast!
So be ready to have your mind blown by trick jams and sprint race and more, all this presented by 3 heavy players : Traffic Distribution, The 5th floor and Soundtrack.
More info about the event here.

Tweed yourself up
The famous annual Tweed Run is coming up in London April 9, 2011. This event became so popular that it has been exported to Memphis, San Diego, LA, Melbourne and other major cities.
The principle is fairly easy, ride a bike with British elegance, so ladies go steal your grandmother’s tweed skirts and gentlemen have your mustache grow. And if you are into old fashion revival events, you can also participate to the ‘Béret Baguette’ Ride in Paris on May 21-22.

Art+bike=Artcrank
“Bikes are the world’s most fun, accessible way to get around. Posters are the world’s most fun, accessible art form. ARTCRANK™ brings them together.”
What a better way to spend a night sipping a drink, chatting, looking at art (even better : bike art) and thinking I can afford it! ARTCRANK shows are a wonderful opportunity to support local artists, expose people to art and galvanize them into cycling at the same time. Please come to Philly!

Tedx Philly
It’s happening today in Philly at the Kimmel Center and if you did not have the chance to get tickets, you can still view it broadcasting live online : http://tedxphilly.com/live.
For the ones who don’t have a clue of what I am talking about, Ted is a non profit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Basically Ted put together conferences and events (Tedx) all over the world where interesting people with great stories come to talk for 18 minutes about what they do. In a word, it is like a massive Brainstorming where individuals, organizations, communities can share experiences, get inspired and spread ideas. Just watch, it’s good brain food!
And here is a video, if you still don’t quite get it.
